Basketball was my first passion when I was a young girl and then I was introduced to volleyball at 10 years old. Volleyball very quickly became my world. I played Outside Hitter for two years at Olympic College. I made the decision to “retire” from collegiate athletics in 2010 and focus on my electrical engineering degree. But, volleyball continued to be a passion of mine. After my retirement, I made time to keep playing, help coach club teams, and local programs. After college, I resumed my obsession with coaching and expanded my horizons to coaching grass and indoors. To date, I have coached ages 4 to 18 on a variety of different athletic levels.
I moved down to San Diego from Washington State in August of 2019, right before COVID hit, for a Project Manager position. This will be my first season back after taking time off to obtain my MBA and start my new career. I am extremely delighted to be part of the COAST Family and a head coach for the 16 Regional 1s and 12-3s.
Outside of work, coaching, and playing volleyball, I enjoy working out, staying busy with projects around my house, exploring San Diego, and continuing to grow as a coach and young professional.
