Rochelle played numerous sports growing up but fell in love with volleyball in high school. She was recruited out of high school for both volleyball and basketball, ultimately choosing to play volleyball in college.
Rochelle played collegiate volleyball at Cal State Fullerton and Point Loma Nazarene University, where she earned All-American honors in 2002 and 2003. In 2008, she became the Head Coach of Point Loma Nazarene University and led the Sea Lions (formerly Crusaders) to three NAIA National Tournament appearances.
She has been coaching volleyball for over 20 years and has coached every age group from club 12s through the college ranks. She has held head coach and assistant coach titles at Vista Murrieta HS, Head Coach of Girls and Boys at Rancho Christian HS, as well as the Athletics Director for Rancho Christian HS. She also coaches sand volleyball. She is passionate about the sport, development of the girls on and off the court, and loves to teach life through the sport of volleyball.
Rochelle currently is an Adjunct Professor and Senior Coordinator of Program Outreach at Concordia University Irvine in the Masters in Coaching and Athletics Administration program where she also obtained her Master degree in 2016. She has been married for 26 years to her high school sweetheart, Mark, and together they have 4 kids; Brooke, 26, Bryce, 24, Ryleigh, 15, and Chandler, 11.
