Flavia is originally from Rome, Italy and moved to the US in 2014 to pursue her goal of playing college volleyball. She played at San Diego Mesa College for both indoor and beach volleyball, then transferred to play indoor on a scholarship to PLNU where she graduated with her bachelors in Psychology. After her volleyball career came to an end she decided to pursue coaching. She went back to coach at both of her alma maters the first one for beach volleyball and at Point Loma Nazarene University as a graduate assistant where she recently earned her masters degree in Sport Management.
Flavia is a passionate and dedicated volleyball coach with a deep love for the sport and an unwavering commitment to developing athletes. Flavia believes in the power of teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement. She loves to instill in players not only the technical skills required to excel on the volleyball court but also the importance of sportsmanship, respect, and a strong work ethic.
Flavia has a hands-on coaching style, providing personalized feedback to each player, and tailoring training programs to suit individual and team needs. She loves creating a positive and motivating atmosphere that fosters growth and success.
When Flavia is not on the volleyball court, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her personal interests, which include playing Padel and traveling.
