Davis Ransom

Davis’s teams have a legacy of excellence and achievement! With a coaching career that began
in 1994 and a tenure at Coast since 1998, Davis has built a reputation synonymous with
success. Even as a 2s coach, his teams consistently compete against top-tier competition, often
outperforming other clubs’ 1s teams. His track record speaks for itself: nearly every year, his
teams qualify for Junior Nationals, including a recent 5th place finish in the 16-Liberty division
after winning the Red Rock Rave JNQ. The previous year, his team won a. Bronze Medal at
AAU Nationals, with two players earning All-American honors.

Davis’s high school coaching career includes leading the 2000 Bonita Vista Barons to a perfect
43-0 season and a mythical National Title. More recently, he guided Point Loma High to the
State Finals and a CIF Championship, earning the title of San Diego County Girls Volleyball
Coach of the Year.

With six years of college coaching in some of the nation’s toughest leagues and as a host of

passion to his craft.
