Peter played his collegiate ball at SDSU as a setter. He is currently the Varsity Coach at La Jolla Country Day School and has been there for over 31 years. He took the Lady Torrey’s to 6 CIF championships and 2 consecutive State Championships the last 2 years. He has coached at the Wave for 2 years before making his move to Coast 3 years ago. With assistant coach Nikki Blackman, he has competed and placed highly at the Junior Olympics and Festival. Peter also has college coaching experience at his Alma Mater, SDSU, where he was the assistant coach for 2 years. He coached at the age open collegiate level as well.
In addition to his excellent resume on the court, Peter is also a published author on parenting in youth athletics. He is very active in the community as a public speaker for local area coach’s clinics. Peter is a legend in San Diego volleyball and we are very proud to have him in the Coast family!
