Hannah started playing and eventually coaching indoor volleyball at LAVA while living in the LA area and attending California State University Northridge, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2018. She made the move to San Diego in 2021 and could not be happier with her new home and the fantastic community she has found at COAST and La Jolla Country Day school. She coaches year round at LJCDS with both the woman’s and men’s high school and middle school volleyball programs.Â
She seeks to create an environment where her teams are constantly learning and pushing themselves both physically and mentally every practice. She believes that the best athletes are the ones who are asking questions, putting in full effort, and are supporting their teammates 100% of the time. The best volleyball is played when the team is focused, confident, and having fun. She believes in teaching volleyball skills as well as a love for the game, something she still has after 15 years of competitively playing.Â
When she isn’t coaching Hannah loves to go hiking in national parks, watch live music, read thrillers, and go on road trips.
