Brittani coached at the Gulf Coast Volleyball Academy (GCVA) while in Houston, TX for three years before relocating to San Diego. Brittani is in her tenth year of coaching at COAST Volleyball which has included: 11’s, 13’s, 15’s, 17’s and 18’s and has yielded a top 16 finish for the Festival tournament, three top 16 finishes at national tournaments, a top 5 finish for the national qualifier tournament in 2019, multiple placements in Junior Olympics, as well has medaled or finished top 10 in every 18s tournament.
Brittani was a two-sport, 7x letter winner at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. After sustaining an injury her junior year, she returned for her senior year leading the Warriors to a 29-4 finish and was named co-Player of the Year in Indianapolis, the number one Middle Blocker in the state of Indiana and was the first of two athletes ever to play volleyball in college from her high school. Brittani also received First Team All-State honors in 2007 as a senior. Brittani played for Team Indiana her senior year as an outside hitter, won the Regional Championships and advanced to the Junior Olympics in Open in the same year.
Brittani accepted a full ride scholarship to play at the D1 program at University of Southern Indiana where she was a four-year starter and was a 3-time First Team All-Conference player. Brittani received multiple All-Tournament Awards and her senior year she received a Player of the Week award from the GLVC as well as First Team All-Region and First Team All-American honorable mention. Brittani led her team back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in six years during her senior year.
Brittani earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Southern Indiana. Brittani continued her education at the University of Houston Clear Lake where she received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Brittani completed her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Couples and Family Therapy, specializing in Grief and Bereavement. Brittani is currently the Lead Transitional Age Youth (18-25) clinician at Catalyst and works as a therapist there as well for individuals with serious mental illness.
