Originally from Minnesota, Torri has just moved to San Diego to escape the cold winters of the Midwest. During her teenage years – she played as a DS/Libero in high school and club volleyball.
During her college years, she was the junior varsity coach for a town called Esko, MN. She has loved the sport ever since she was young and was enlightened when she found out about Coast volleyball when she moved.
Torri currently works in Mortgage/Real-Estate and is also a CPT! She has earned her Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis on leadership and change from a private school in Minnesota called The College of St. Scholastica. Her thesis was on the topic of mindfulness and throughly enjoys utilizing her research for every day life.
She hopes to use her experience of not only coaching/playing – but also her experience of her MBA to build young athletes into leaders – as she was taught from role models and teachers in her life. She believes in teamwork, strategy, leadership, and strength to not only to help grow athletes individually but also collectively as a team.Â
When she gets a little bit of free time, Torri enjoys checking out new places in San Diego. Whether that may be a new hiking trail or a cool spot on the beach. She enjoys meeting new people, so don’t be afraid to say hi!
