Parker began playing volleyball his freshman year of high school and joined COAST Volleyball for his 16s through 18s seasons. He competed for two seasons at the varsity level at Scripps Ranch High School, where he was named to the Eastern League All–First Team his junior year as an outside hitter. He graduated in 2020.
After high school, Parker continued his playing career at San Diego Miramar College, where he won back-to-back PCAC championships. He earned PCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention his first year and PCAC All-Conference First Team his second year, competing both as a middle and an outside.
He then transferred to California Lutheran University (NCAA Division III). In his first year, he won an NCAA Division III National Championship. In his second year, the team advanced to the national semifinals, with Parker competing as a middle. He graduated in 2025 with a degree in Sports Psychology.
After completing his collegiate playing career, Parker returned home to San Diego—where he was born and raised—and began coaching at the same volleyball programs that shaped his development as an athlete. He now coaches beach and indoor volleyball at Scripps Ranch High School, serves as an assistant coach for the San Diego Miramar indoor program, and coaches at COAST Volleyball Club.
