Marco Posada
Marco started playing competitive volleyball when he was 15 years old for Borinquen Coquí Volleyball Club in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During his junior year of high school Marco got the opportunity to play for the Puerto Rican Youth National Beach Volleyball Program. During his senior year of high school he moved to San Diego and played for Wave Volleyball Club his senior season. The following year he began playing Division I Men’s volleyball for UC San Diego. Marco is in the process of completing his bachelors degree in Biology.
This will be Marco’s third season with COAST Volleyball Club, previously working with the 17-1 and 17-2 teams.
Outside of COAST, you can find Marco working at The San Diego Knee Clinic and enjoying hobbies such as playing competitive beach volleyball, surfing and repairing surfboards. Marco aspires to go to medical school after his undergraduate studies.
