Joseph Harrington
Joseph played at COAST Volleyball from 13s through 18s and has been coaching with the club since graduating high school. He graduated from Canyon Crest Academy in 2019, where he was a four-year varsity starter, two-year team captain for indoor, and also competed in beach volleyball for three years. He received both academic and athletic honors during his junior and senior seasons.
He continued his volleyball career at Vassar College (DIII), where the team won its conference and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8 during his freshman season. In his senior year, Vassar entered the NCAA tournament as the #1 seed and advanced to the semifinals.
After undergrad, Joseph continued his studies at Dartmouth College, earning both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering while competing for the club volleyball team, where he helped lead strong showings at national events.
Joseph now works as an electrical engineer at Qualcomm in San Diego and continues to stay active, coaching at COAST and playing beach volleyball. He loves fitness, competing, and mentoring young athletes.
