Originally from Roseburg Oregon, Cole was very first introduced to volleyball through his sister. He moved to Fresno where he ended up playing indoor in 5th grade. He played for three different clubs. CenCal, TVA, and San Joaquin Elite. Cole was first introduced to beach volleyball in the 7th grade with TVA. Cole found himself progressing the most at San Joaquin Elite where he learned the skills to play in San Diego at Mesa college.
He thrives to have the same competitiveness, drive, skills, and respect that he was once taught. Cole believes that any volleyball player should give both beach and indoor a shot because they are two separate games.
Cole is currently at Mesa college pursuing his Business Admissions major. He hopes to one day be able to give back to others just like others did for him. Cole thrives to help kids grow up to be mature and respectful and plans to own a volleyball club one day.
Cole believes that a player is as only as good as their coach and that they’re a reflection of the coaches work. He believes you should always work hard when you’re in the gym. He thrives to set goals for his players and help them surpass each goal. Through experience Cole has seen what has and hasn’t worked in coaching.
Cole enjoys playing volleyball whether that’s in a gym, on a beach, or in the grass. He loves to work out and go to the gym. He is also a big fan of quality time with family and friends. Cole’s other hobbies consist of cooking, listening to music, and going on road trips.
