Charley Yoeun
Coaching: Girls
Born and raised in San Diego, Charley grew up playing basketball. He played from grade school and some college. During his senior year of high school he was introduced to volleyball. Using some of his basketball techniques, he learned how to play volleyball and it became a sport he loved.
Charley is currently the head coach at La Costa Canyon High School. Prior to coaching at La Costa Canyon he began his coaching career as a varsity assistant and head junior varsity coach at Monte Vista High School from 2012-2021. He then went on to coach at Canyon Crest Academy as a head junior varsity coach in 2021. He then became the head coach during the 2022 season.
Charley has been with Coast since 2021. He has worked with many of our top coaches. He continues to learn from his fellow coaches to better his craft. Charley looks forward to teaching young motivated athletes each season. He looks forward to seeing our athletes grow both on and off the court.
Aside from coaching Charley likes to live a healthy life style. His hobbies include working out, staying active, cooking, playing basketball, and studying the beautiful game of volleyball
